Our Tavern offers a full daily menu, serving lunch & dinner, composed by our renown chef from Johnson & Whale University. Extraordinary details are used when creating our menu, which changes with every season. From Filet Mignon, Tuna steak, Tavern Oysters, Hand Packed Burgers, Caramelized Pear Salads, and Soups made from scratch. You will be intrigued every time you visit. Our friendly staff envites you to enjoy the experience.
Beautifully renovated, the Tavern offers new restaurant equipment, a full restaurant liquior license, which also offers take out package goods. Enjoy, relax, and discover our stunning dinning room, which seats 50 people. Enjoy dinning next to the breathtaking original large beautiful Delawere River stone built fireplace, with the tree trunk cut hearth. It is absolutly amazing. A large bar room , seats 30 .Entrigue yourself to our 16 brass tap glycol system.We are know to host some of the best selections of domestic , imports and hand crafted tap beers in the area. An outdoor covered patio seats 30, while enjoying the surrounding sounds of the river and to watch the local town traffic passing by the Delawere Canal. The Riegelsville Tavern shows the past history of our town, with walls filled with black & white photos of many years of the towns past and surrounding area. We provided parking for over 40 cars, both on rt611 and behing the tavern and along the cannal on Durham rd.
Besides the perfect dinning experience, a stroll around the town or a walk along the cannal, there is always something to do at The Riegelsville Tavern . We host nightly entertainmentsuch as Monday are Texas Holdem Poker 8pm, Tuesdays are Trivia 8pm, Thursdays are Karaoke 8pm, Fridays are Dj & Dancing 10pm-2am, Saturdays are Live Bands 10pm -2am, Sundays are Open Mic Accoustic nights 7pm!
